Ornamental Ironwork

Darryl Reeves is a master ornamental ironworker whose forge work can be found on balconies, gates, and fences throughout the French Quarter and Garden District.

Trained in the tradition of New Orleans' renowned ironworking families, Darryl combines the aesthetic vocabulary of the city's historic ironwork with contemporary techniques and his own distinctive design language.

He is a founding member of NOMCG and leads the ironwork apprenticeship track, sharing the craft with the next generation of New Orleans artisans.

Jeff Poree

Fine Woodworking & Cabinetry

Jeff Poree is a master woodworker specializing in the fine joinery and cabinetry traditions of New Orleans' Creole and antebellum interiors.

His work ranges from historically accurate restoration millwork on landmark properties to custom furniture informed by the cypress and mahogany aesthetic of the city's architectural heritage.

Jeff serves on the NOMCG board and mentors apprentices through both the formal apprenticeship program and independent workshop instruction.
